ScreenShare
Record screen and camera, then trim, caption and export on your Mac.
ScreenShareRecord a display, a window or an area with your webcam, microphone and system audio. Trim it, caption it and export to MP4, ProRes, WebM, GIF or a social format. Recordings stay on the Mac unless you choose a cloud transcription provider.
What it does

The camera bubble stays editable
The bubble is stored as keyframes and composited at export. Move it, resize it, change its shape or hide it after you stop recording.

A crash costs you nothing
Video is written in 2-second fragments and the state is saved every 5 seconds. If the Mac goes down, the next launch recovers the take.

Captions on device or in the cloud
Apple's on-device speech, whisper.cpp, OpenAI or ElevenLabs. Edit the transcript inline, export SRT or VTT, or burn the captions in.

Change layout mid-recording
Screen with bubble, screen only, camera full or side by side, on ⌥⇧1 to ⌥⇧4. Switches crossfade and stay editable afterwards.

Exports run in a queue
Pick several presets at once. Vertical formats move the camera and captions into the space below the screen by themselves.

A cleaner voice track
Rumble filter, noise reduction and loudness normalisation to -16 LUFS through ffmpeg. The original track is kept.
What it doesn't do
- WebM, GIF, MP3 export and voice enhancement need ffmpeg from Homebrew.
- There is no sharing link. Files stay where you save them.
Requirements
- macOS 15 or later (macOS 26 for the best on-device transcription)
- Xcode 16 or the Swift 6 toolchain to build
- Optional: ffmpeg and whisper-cpp from Homebrew
Network access
The app connects only to these, and only for the feature named:
- OpenAI or ElevenLabs, only if you pick them as the transcription provider and add your key
- Hugging Face, to download a whisper.cpp model when you ask for one
