Privacy notice

What Prompt Software does with your data on this site, written against what the code actually does.

Last updated: 19 October 2026

The German version of this notice is the legally binding one.

Who is responsible

dionics media UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Birkhuhnweg 8, 31303 Burgdorf, Germany, is the controller for the processing described here. Reach us at websites@dionics.ai or +49 175 9648764. We have not appointed a data protection officer, because the thresholds in section 38 of the Federal Data Protection Act do not apply to us.

Visiting the site

Our host logs each request: IP address, time, page, referring page, status code, bytes transferred, and the browser and operating system your browser reports. This is needed to deliver the page and to spot faults and abuse. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Logs are not combined with other data and are deleted after 30 days at the latest.

Hosting is provided by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA, as a processor under a data processing agreement. Vercel is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, with the EU standard contractual clauses as a fallback.

Fonts

The fonts are served from our own server. Opening a page does not connect to Google Fonts or any other font provider.

Downloads through GitHub

Our server asks the GitHub API for the version details shown on the app pages. No data about you is sent with that request.

When you click a download link or a link to the source, your browser fetches the file or page directly from GitHub (github.com and objects.githubusercontent.com), which receives your IP address and technical details about your browser. The provider is GitHub, Inc., 88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, our interest in offering the software where its source lives. GitHub's notice is at docs.github.com/site-policy/privacy-policies.

The apps themselves

The apps send us no data. They have no telemetry and no account. They make network requests only for features you switch on, such as cloud transcription with your own API key, and each app page lists those requests. For such services the terms of that provider apply, with whom you deal directly.

The contact form

When you send the form we process the name, email address, topic and message you enter, so we can answer. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, our interest in answering enquiries addressed to us.

The message is delivered as email over an authenticated, TLS-encrypted SMTP connection and stored in our mailbox, both operated for us by Zoho as a processor outside the EU under the EU standard contractual clauses. Enquiries are deleted twelve months after the last message at the latest.

Against automated submissions the form has a field people never see and checks that enough time passed between loading and sending. Neither stores anything on your device or tells anyone anything.

Analytics, only if you agree

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits. It loads only after you accept in the banner. The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR with section 25(1) TDDDG.

Once you accept, Google Analytics sets the cookies _ga and _ga_[measurement id] for two years and sends page views, approximate region and browser and device details. IP addresses are not stored. Data is deleted after 14 months at the latest. Advertising features and Google Signals are off. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; data is also processed by Google LLC in the USA, certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

You can withdraw consent at any time, for the future, through Cookie settings in the footer.

What is stored on your device

Nothing unless you act. The local-storage entry theme records whether you picked the light or dark design. The entry cookie-consent records your answer to the banner. These implement a setting you asked for and are allowed without consent under section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG. They are never sent to a server.

Your right to object under Article 21 GDPR

Where we rely on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. We then stop unless we can show compelling legitimate grounds or the processing serves legal claims. We do no direct marketing. Send objections to websites@dionics.ai.

Your other rights

  • Access, Article 15 GDPR
  • Correction, Article 16
  • Deletion, Article 17
  • Restriction, Article 18
  • Portability, Article 20
  • Withdrawal of consent, Article 7(3)

Write to websites@dionics.ai. You can also complain to the supervisory authority responsible for us, Die Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz Niedersachsen, Prinzenstraße 5, 30159 Hannover, or to the one where you live or work.
