Checkwell

What it does

• Capture from any app with ⌃⌥Space

  Type "call dentist friday at 3pm #errand ~30m" and Checkwell sets the date, reminder, tag and estimate. It reads English and German.

• Every project is also a kanban board

  ⌥⌘B switches between list and board. Headings become swimlanes, columns take WIP limits, and moving a card to Done completes the to-do.

• Forecasts with deadline risk

  Monte Carlo runs give each project a forecast such as "85% likely done by" a date, and warn when a deadline is at risk. Charts show cumulative flow, throughput, lead time and cycle time.

• Time tracking with CSV reports

  Run a focus timer or a stopwatch, or log time by hand. The report groups hours by project, tag, to-do or day and exports to CSV.

• Plan the day and the week

  Plan My Day sorts overdue, due and high-priority to-dos against your daily capacity. The Week Planner shows your calendar events next to them.

• Claude splits a to-do into steps

  Ask Claude to break a to-do into a checklist of concrete steps. It uses your own API key, which Checkwell keeps in the Keychain.
