What it does

• Three channels, nine source types

  Each oscillator channel holds one source and two of 16 insert module types. Sources include FM, ring modulation, sync granular, a sample engine, a granular engine and live audio input.

• Envelopes with up to 68 breakpoints

  Six modes cover release, sustain, loop, retrigger, control-driven and linked envelopes, all with tempo sync. An envelope LFO sets its depth and rate per breakpoint.

• Draw a wave, then edit 512 harmonics

  Draw a waveform by hand and refine it in a spectrum editor with 512 harmonics. Etherion morphs between the waves you make.

• Effects on up to 8 output channels

  The effect stage has granular, multicomb, resonator, pipe, echo and multitap effects. It outputs surround audio on up to 8 channels.

• A sound map for 2,255 presets

  The browser places presets on a 2D map with 7 tonal range sliders, favourites and audition. A morph tool blends the current sound with the presets you select.

• 16 macros, MPE and microtuning

  Modulate with 3 LFOs, 16 macros with MIDI learn and 4 audio-driven modulators. Etherion responds to MPE and polyphonic aftertouch and reads .scl tuning files and MTS-ESP.
