From today, two of our Mac apps cost nothing: Tinydeck, the skinnable music player, and Spacewalk, the disk space analyzer. You download the full app from its product page and use it. There is no licence to buy and no demo limit.
What free means here
No licence at all. The free versions don't contain the licence code anymore. There is no Licence menu and no activation dialog, and neither app contacts our server.
No limits. Tinydeck saves playlists, exports them as text, writes .eqf equalizer presets and exports skins. Spacewalk moves files to the Trash and clears the caches you confirm. Those were the parts the demo switched off, and now they work for everyone.
Any number of Macs. The two-computer rule is for licences, and these apps don't have one. Install them on every Mac you use.
Signed and notarized as before. Both downloads are signed with our Apple Developer ID and notarized by Apple, like every other app on this site. macOS asks once whether to open an app downloaded from the internet.
Tinydeck
Tinydeck plays music from three windows that snap together: the player, a 10-band equalizer and a playlist editor. It loads .wsz skins, including shaped windows, and has seven themes of its own. It plays MP3, AAC, ALAC, FLAC, WAV and AIFF files and internet radio streams, and reads M3U, M3U8 and PLS playlists. The equalizer covers 60 Hz to 16 kHz with 12 dB either way and comes with 18 presets.
It needs macOS 14 or later on a Mac with Apple silicon.
Spacewalk
Spacewalk scans a folder or the whole disk and draws the result as a treemap. Its cleanup pane covers 14 targets, among them caches, logs, Xcode DerivedData and old downloads. Files of 100 MB and up come up as cards: left arrow deletes, right arrow keeps, Cmd-Z undoes. Swiped files go to the Trash, so you can still get them back.
It needs macOS 14 or later and runs on Apple silicon and Intel Macs. Give it Full Disk Access for complete scan results.
If you tried an earlier version
Version 1.0 of both apps was a demo that needed a licence to save or clean up. Version 1.0.1 is the free one. Download it from the product page and drag it over the old copy in your Applications folder. Your settings, playlists and kept-items list stay where they are.
New versions go up on the same product pages.
